Snow Race Morgins

The drive over to Morgins was like it was April so I got really excited and stoked to ride. The first race was a mass start quickest down the mountain. I finished first out of the girls and about middle of the pack with the boys so not bad really.

 

I was not really prepared for the race so after the first one, my 5.10's were soaking wet but I had only brought a new pair of socks.

The next race were eliminator races on a hard packed piste. By the time it came round to the women's race I was freezing!

Seeing so many of the boys stack it in the first corner, I decided to take it easy - but it was so much fun and you could get to great speeds I just took off!

So with a 1st in both races, I took home some great prize money and a huge slab of cheese!!
