Weekend

I though this was going to be my first active weekend since my operation but, its next weekend so not much really happened... except for this:

It's out!

So what should have been a 1 hour operation turned out to be 2 hours... maybe something to do with me coming off my bike a few times and landing on it!!

In good company!

Yes!!!! My first magazine article and its not too bad! It is in the UK's MBR magazine and a couple of month's ago they did a 'Quick Word' with Steve Peat - before he became World Champ.

Back on skis!

Finally back on a pair of skis - kinda felt good... not as good as getting back on my bike, just good.

It's been snowing!

We were expecting the first guests of the winter season to arrive today but because of all the snow in England their light were cancelled.

2nd IXS DOWNHILL

I am pretty happy with my result this weekend. For the last 10 days I have been with my neighbours nan's house in the South of France and have not even seen a bike let alone ride one!

This time of the year is not great when I look out the window and just see more and more snow but, when I see a UPS truck I get pretty excited!! This lot arrived today and I am really proud to be running Goodridge cables for 2010.

I have sooo many people to thank for this!!! Nigel Page for initially seeing my riding talents and helping me, Vanessa Quin for showing me whats possible and Jeff Steber at Intense for believing in me. Its snowing outside and I am doing work experience but, today is a GREAT day!!!!

Dad has been busy this year, he has launched www.gravitymountainbike.com and with that he is looking after a few junior racers under the title "GravityInc Sports Management". One of the first things he has sorted out is that I am promoting Monster Energy Sports drinks! Soooo.....

I am proud to announce that I, will be promoting Monster Energy Sports Drinks on my quest for European glory this coming season.

There is no racing at the moment and last week, my very first sponsors (other than mum and dad) came to visit. About 2 years ago just before I got my downhill bike, Graham and Claire saw how much we enjoyed biking and bought me and Kaos (my little brother) some body armour - they are now getting me more!! Thank you.

Anyway, as they have a big truck we thought it would be great to head over to the road gap - and jump the truck! (not pictured here as that is our Panda!!
