iXS Downhill Cup races are really well organised and at some great places around Europe... the one this weekend was at Pila, Italy - the last time I came her was to watch Vanessa Quin in the World Cup in 2005, I was 10!

This weekend, I realised how much effort goes into getting me to races... Dad was really busy with work so we could not get there till late Friday - missing a whole day of training - we had no easy-up as the one we used was needed and our van had broken down so we borrowed Paul's... crazy start to the weekend.

In the recent Dirt article there were 2 things that I have thought about... one was that Nigel Page said watch out for my little brother Kaos and the other was that I have said about beating Sandra - my closest rival here in France.

Whenever I go riding, most of the time, there is someone else with me. It used to be dad - but he just can not keep up anymore!! Kaos my little brother was 11 this year. He is still too young to race but boy is he getting fast. He rides my old Intense 6.6 with all my old parts - which is unfortunate as he rides with a lot of pink stuf - haha.

I say first because it would be great to get a few more!! Crazy though how different it is to do shots with someone like Victor Lucas there were some great pictures there and its a shame they could not all be used!

Tahnée reports after the Sprint Avalanche in Oz-en-Oisans: After a great weekend of racing in Super-Besse for a French National, as soon as I got home, I had to leave just a day after for the Sprint Avalanche Cup in Oz en Oisans. Dad was waiting to pick-up one of the CRC mechanics so I left in the morning with Matt Simmonds and Ruaridh Cunningham in the CRC van, that felt factory!
It's a 1-2 weekend

What a weekend! Tahnée has just returned from the 2nd Round of the 'Coupe de France' in Super-Besse and is now on her way to the Sprint Avalanche in Oz-en-Oisans.

Holy hell what a track... rode this last year, but the track has had a lot of work since then by track builder Ben Walker and his team. It's still a really scary track to ride - but I love it!

For our first ever French National, Tahnée was racing amongst the biggest gathering of girls racing in Europe. It was a great turn out of over 25 girls racing over 2 categories - Junior and Elite. The French have let the Cadets (15 year olds) join the Juniors in the womens class, so its now 15-18... a good mix.
